A suspended retreat above the lagoon
Perched on the heights of Grand Cul-de-Sac, Villa Larimar is positioned slightly higher than the other three villas in the Issayah Estate, offering uninterrupted, breathtaking views of the lagoon. Named after the soothing stone that embodies tranquility and comfort, Larimar sets the tone from the entrance: a golden metal arch catches the sunlight, while a charming staircase leads guests into the villa. Inside, the villa embraces a bohème chic spirit, with organic teak wood furniture evoking a refined, French-inflected Tulum sensibility. Walls are dressed in designer wallcoverings with travel-inspired motifs, while touches of handmade metal from ZENZA add warmth and edge throughout.
Open spaces designed for 8 guests
Spanning 280 square metres, the villa accommodates up to 8 guests across 4 bedroom suites, each with its own en-suite bathroom, shower, and peaceful views over the lagoon and ocean. One bedroom sits upstairs, accessed from the living space, while the other two have private entrances from the main deck — a layout that balances togetherness with independence. Every bedroom is dressed in natural linen curtains and bed linen, with Pyrenex natural down bedding — the same standard found in five-star hotels. The air-conditioned living room opens onto the terrace, with a dining area, a TV lounge, and a fully equipped kitchen fitted with premium French tableware by Guy Degrenne and Cristel cookware. A connected Sonos sound system runs through the house and every bedroom — as suited to a quiet evening as it is to a celebration. Guests also have access to the estate’s shared fitness room.
The Issayah art of living
On the main floor, a spacious covered terrace faces the heated infinity pool overlooking the azure lagoon — the perfect setting for lazy days, meals with a view, or long evenings with friends. A pool beach sits just steps from the lagoon and the beach, while a Wolf barbecue beneath the stars extends the evening outdoors. Families will enjoy the stone path through the lush garden, where local turtles can often be spotted meandering. The Issayah Estate also offers the possibility of combining several villas to host up to 28 guests, providing rare flexibility while preserving the intimacy of each private retreat.
