Perched above the Grand Cul-de-Sac bay, Villa Quartz sits within the landscape like a contemporary line facing the ocean. Named after the stone known for restoring energy balance and inner calm, Quartz brings together luxury and simplicity in equal measure. Water, light, and wind become constant elements of the setting, giving the villa a feeling of total openness toward the sea and the horizon. Inside, moucharabieh screens cast shifting patterns of shadow and light, evoking an exotic sensibility. Walls are dressed in Moooi coverings with stylized wild fauna motifs, while handmade Egyptian metal accents by Zenza add a sculptural, artisanal touch throughout.

Multi-level architecture facing the ocean

Spread across several levels, the villa accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, each featuring king-size beds and private bathrooms. The first two bedrooms adjoin the living area, offering a similar level of design and comfort. They can be connected for families or closed off for added privacy, while also providing direct access from the deck. The third bedroom sits on the lower level, reached by a stone path through the garden or by stairs from the pool deck, overlooking the garden and lagoon. Every bedroom is dressed in natural linen curtains and bed linen, with Pyrenex natural down bedding — the same standard found in five-star hotels. The air-conditioned living space includes a TV lounge, a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, fitted with premium French tableware by Guy Degrenne and Cristel cookware, and a utility room. A connected Sonos sound system runs through the house and every bedroom — as suited to a quiet evening as it is to a celebration. On the lower level, a fully equipped gym with panoramic views over the lagoon completes the villa.

The heart of the villa: the carbet and the horizon

The covered terrace — the villa’s carbet — is the true centrepiece, dressed in statement outdoor fabric and built around a fully functional outdoor kitchen. Wide terraces are arranged around a 16-metre heated infinity pool, where the water seems to extend the bay itself. Sun loungers, generous sofas, and a high dining table complete the outdoor living space. As with the entire Issayah Estate, Quartz can be booked on its own or combined with other villas — a common gate connects it directly to Villa Lazuli — offering a total capacity of up to 28 guests, with a rare level of flexibility in Saint-Barth.
